Actually, I think this link: http://www.jh-author.com/outline2-2.htm was the one that gave me that idea. (Scroll down a bit to chapter two.) Not saying it's right; I really don't know. (Haven't read the book, either.) But I was trying to remember where I got that impression, and it was bugging me. :)
